The Final Conference  organized by the IPA-I PP2 – Regional Agency for development of the Eastern Serbia – RARIS, in cooperation with the Observer Partner Serbian Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning and the IPA-I PP1 – Danube Competence Centre.

National Workshop TRANSDANUBE, Vidin/Bulgaria

On November 12th and 13th, 2013 the Regional administration Vidin was  host of two workshops in the framework of the project TRANSDANUBE - Sustainable transport and tourism along Danube.
Nov. 12th the workshop was organised for stakeholders in tourism.

On Nov 13th, representatives of the transport sector were invited

The Regional development plan for sustainable transport in Vidin region and the Soft mobility vision, signed by all project partners, were presented during the meetings. 
As a result of the working forums the Soft mobility vision was signed by stakeholders from public institutions, municipalities, schools, companies, non-governmental organizations and tourism experts.

European Transport Conference 2013 in Frankfurt

Günther Lichtblau from the Environment Agency (Lead Partner) presented the idea of TRANSDANUBE as well as good practices and recommandations for  implementation of sustainable mobility in tourism regions at the European Transport Conference, which took place from 30 September – 2. October 2013 in Frankfurt, Germany. In his presentation Günther Lichtblau has  merged the experiences out of both projects the Environment Agency Austria is leading in the field of sustainable moblity in tourism – ACCESS2MOUNTAIN and TRANSDANUBE.
